Awarded a Silver Medal at Bord Bia Bloom 2026, Where Trust Takes Root marked an important milestone for SAS Landscapes Ltd. and reflects the standard of design and construction we strive to bring to every project.
SAS Landscapes Ltd. was proud to design and build Where Trust Takes Root, our debut show garden at Bord Bia Bloom 2026.
The garden explored the theme of trust as the foundation for growth, connection, and resilience. Designed as a contemporary naturalistic landscape, the space combined strong architectural elements with immersive planting and water features to create a calm and reflective environment.
At the heart of the garden, four sculptural pillars emerged from a tranquil body of water, creating a powerful focal point and symbolising the strength that can arise when trust is established and nurtured. Natural stone paving, carefully crafted timber details, and layered planting worked together to create a garden that felt both grounded and uplifting.
The planting palette blended ornamental grasses, perennials, herbs, edible crops, and productive fruiting plants, demonstrating how beauty, biodiversity, and functionality can coexist within a modern garden. Visitors were encouraged to slow down, explore the space, and reflect on the relationships between people, nature, and place.
The project showcased the full capabilities of SAS Landscapes Ltd., from concept development and design through to project management, construction, planting, and finishing. Built under the demanding conditions of a national show garden, the project demonstrated our commitment to craftsmanship, creativity, and attention to detail.
