Project Details

This garden in Blackrock, Dublin was overgrown and without any clear functionality. We went in and created an Indian Sandstone patio with granite cobble edging, pebbled areas, and a bark mulch bed.

This garden involved a significant excavation as it was overgrown with invasive vegetation. Once cleared out the goal was to bring, order, style, and functionality to the site.

An Indian sandstone apron was built just outside the back of the house. This involved putting in a step at the back double doors. From the apron, a curved path takes you up the garden to a square patio area – perfect for dining.

Both the apron and square patio area are edged with silver granite cobbles.

This primary patio area is secluded with mature established bamboos and overlooked by silver birch trees.

Ballylusk pebble and bark mulch were used to create transition areas from one end of the garden to the other.
