At St. John of God’s Training & Resource Centre in Dún Laoghaire, SAS Landscapes Ltd. delivered a compassionate and highly functional outdoor renovation designed to enhance wellbeing, accessibility, and comfort for young adults with intellectual disabilities.

This project centred on creating a safe, low-maintenance, and sensory-supportive space. We installed a premium artificial lawn surface ideal for year-round use, ensuring smooth and stable access for service users and staff. The area was enclosed with bespoke horizontal timber cladding, providing privacy, warmth, and a calm visual environment.

To further elevate the atmosphere, we introduced a curated planting scheme featuring hardy, tactile, and visually soothing plants. Combined with the timber seating elements and pergola framework, the space now offers a peaceful and engaging outdoor environment where users can relax, learn, and interact.
